Mitsuhisa Iwai
Mr. Iwai, after graduating from the Faculty of Law at Hosei University, joined Kyowa Exeo Corporation (currently: EXEO Group, Inc.) and in charge of government information system development, secretarial office manager, human resources development office manager, ICT business planning department manager, etc., before joining WHERE Inc. in 2018. He has served as General Manager of Corporate Planning Department, General Manager of Sales Division and Executive Vice President, and has been in his current position since May 2023. His hobbies are reading (Historical Fiction), walking, playing golf as well as watching women’s professional golf tours.

Hajime Maruta
Mr. Maruta founded WHERE, Inc. in 2013. After serving as a chief researcher at UFJ Research Institute, a professor at The Center for Global Communications (GLOCOM), and the deputy director of the same organization, he founded the company. As a representative director, he promoted the transformation from the geo-application business to the IoT platform business and its growth for 10 years and retired in May, 2023.
Born in Saitama City, has a wife and one son. He is the author of many books, including “Basho-ron (Place Theory)” (NTT Publishing Co., Ltd.).
