NIKKEN SEKKEI LTD, EXEO Group, Inc., WHERE, Inc., OMRON Corporation, Kanda Tsushinki Co., Ltd. and X1StudioCo., Ltd., now joined by UCHIDA YOKO CO., LTD., are going to implement the integrated UI application that visualizes people’s location information as well as displays and controls lighting to Nikken Sekkei’s demonstration office and will start the verification.

To date, we have worked on building a sensor and equipment control network system for the office that utilizes a cloud platform in order to respond to work style reforms and realize a decarbonized society.

This system integrates people’s location information obtained from sensors and environmental information such as temperature, humidity, and illuminance inside buildings on a cloud platform and links building equipment such as air conditioning and lighting to make office operation more comfortable and efficient, but in the future, we think each office worker will be able to use their smartphone to check the occupancy status of people in the room and the settings of building equipment at a glance, and easily operate them, thereby encouraging more proactive environmental behavior.
